Club administrators can find Swift Score on the main Club2Class menu bar at the top of the screen under 'tools'. Alternatively it can also be reached from their club's list of 'all tools'.
Swift Score is a quick way of entering results for a race series and scoring that same series all in one go. It's purpose is to allow rapid entry of results that have been recieved from the committee via means other than the Club2Class Race Recorder. For example results communicated in verbal or written form.
Swift Score is designed to be quick and intuative. It makes some simplifying assumptions to limit a users choices to the most obvious and frequently used. We limit classes that can be chosen to a club's regularly raced classes and any classes from special events that will or have taken place within one month of today. We also limit race series that can be chosen to any series that has been scored within the last six months.
Of course race results can still be entered via the Race Recorder that offers functionality specific to live and in-situ result recording on the race course. Following recording of results in this way they must be added to a race series and scored.
When entering results you can chose different types of results as identified by their scoring abbreviation. A list of these abbreviations is described below

Note 1: Club2Class specific finish code.
Note 2: Scoring penalty percentage amount is specified at a race series level. The finishing place of a competitor choosing to take a scoring penalty is increased by the percentage penalty amount multiplied by the number of boats in the series rounded up to the nearest whole number. The number of penalty places imposed is the greater of 3 and the number of penalty places calculated. The penalised finishing position is limited to the number of boats in the series plus 1. Penalty amounts are calculated independently for each penalty accepted and aggregated subject to the finishing place after penalties have been imposed being not greater than the number of boats in the series plus 1.
Note 3: Z flag penalty percentage amount is specified at a race series level. The finishing place of a competitor incurring a Z flag penalty is increased by the percentage penalty amount multiplied by the number of boats in the series rounded up to the nearest whole number. The penalised finishing place is limited to the number of boats in the series plus 1. Z flag penalty amounts are calculated independently for each penalty incurred and aggregated subject to the finishing place after penalties have been imposed being not greater than the number of boats in the series plus 1.
Note 4: For cases in which Z flag penalties have been incurred and scoring penalties have been accepted each are calculated independently and aggregated subject to the finishing place after penalties have been imposed being not greater than the number of boats in the series plus 1.
